Marketing Intelligence:
National Law Firm

As an independent consultant, I helped a national law firm revolutionize their business intelligence framework.

​

  • Challenge: The firm was mismanaging critical data across a number of siloed systems. Key costs for functional areas like marketing, sales and operations were not being properly tracked or budgeted.

  • Solution: I set up standard operating procedures to normalize and integrate data between the marketing, sales, operations and accounting departments. The end result included a comprehensive annual marketing budget based on a 5 year baseline, plus a standardized KPI reporting dashboard for marketing campaign ROI. This led to over $3 million in annual savings from cuts to poor performing marketing vendors and campaigns.

Go To Market Activation:
Accenture - Metaverse & Web3

I joined Accenture as part of a small team to launch the Metaverse Continuum Business Group. This specialized unit took products and services involving emerging technologies like Blockchain and Digital Twins to market.

 

  • Challenge: Market research identified a multi-billion dollar opportunity for consulting services for emerging tech across the "Metaverse" including blockchain, AR/VR and Digital Twins. However, Accenture did not have a dedicated business unit to sell and deliver these offerings at scale.

  • Solution: My team and I helped shape strategic partnerships with blue chip tech companies like Google, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon and Nvidia to jointly take new offerings to Fortune 500 customers. You can see a sample of my work here:

Product Launch:
Global Bank - Crypto Custody

As a Deloitte consultant, I created the Strategic Operating Model for a cryptocurrency custody product at a Global Bank with over $4 Trillion in assets under custody.

 

  • Challenge: The bank wanted to build a digital wallet that could custody large amounts of cryptocurrency on behalf of institutional investors, while meeting their cybersecurity and AML compliance requirements. No solution existed on the market, and it would have to be built in a bespoke manner.

  • Solution: I was tasked to meet with dozens of stakeholders including engineers and executives from Deloitte, the bank, and software vendors to build a Strategic Operating Model - in order to prove the project was feasible. The op model included a comprehensive process flow document that mapped all business requirements, compliance requirements, technical requirements and API calls needed to successfully build the product. The end result was a product "blueprint" that successfully proved the feasibility of the project. This enabled Deloitte to sell the client an additional contract, to go from concept phase to development. The development engagement generated millions of dollars in revenue and led to the creation of an industry-changing product for institutional cryptocurrency custody.

Growth Marketing:
Augmented Reality Startup

As an independent consultant, I helped a venture-backed SAAS startup grow their Monthly Recurring Revenue by over 2,500% in 6 months using performance marketing campaigns.

 

  • Challenge: The company had achieved product market fit post-seed, and was beloved by blue chip customers. But, growth had stagnated and their customers were hungry for new features. The board was placing pressure on the CEO to increase revenue quickly, so they could raise another funding round and deploy additional capital toward engineering.

  • Solution: I deployed advertisements across Google, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn and Reddit; using rapid cycle A/B testing for radically different ad creatives and audiences. I held weekly calls with the VP of Sales to review lead quality and results. We quickly learned which tactics were most effective and scaled up campaign spending on Facebook/Instagram and Google. This lead to a explosion in sales to enterprise customers across a variety of industries, including: manufacturing, aerospace & defense, tier 1 research universities, and technology. The company was able to raise a $4 million bridge round based on these results.

Go To Market Roadmap:
Stealth Mode AI Startup

As an independent consultant, I helped an angel-backed stealth mode startup Go To Market from 0 to 1.

 

  • Challenge: The company had raised a small six-figure Angel round, and built their MVP. They needed to take the product to market, gain traction in Beta, and position for a pre-seed Venture round. Their budget for marketing was extremely limited, so they needed a plan to growth-hack their way to success.

  • Solution: I worked with the founders to produce a new website and growth funnel, leveraging lean agile marketing. Over a 3-week period, I created the strategic roadmap, including: the channels, campaigns, tech tools, pricing/offers and human resources they would need to execute a successful Beta launch. The roadmap included all Goals, KPIs, Unit Economics and OKRs mapped to the funnel. I also mapped the user journey from marketing acquisition to product user and paying customer, with touchpoints supported by automation and sales team members. I onboarded a team of highly-skilled, pre-vetted independent contractors to launch viral social media campaigns, paid advertising on Facebook/Instagram, cold outreach with Apollo/Instantly/LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and inbound business development. As of Spring 2025, the company is enjoying a thriving Beta and considering multiple term sheets from VCs.
